Chile talks pricing for cross-border bond deal
Chile has set the initial price talk on a planned two-part sale of bonds in the international market this week at around 6.5% each, according to a source familiar with the deal. The sovereign is looking to tap its 6% 2033 Chilean peso-denominated social bonds and issue new notes in local currency that mature in 2040.

Chile prolongs blue code due to worsening weather conditions
In view of the worsening weather conditions in central and southern Chile over the past few days, authorities decided on Wednesday to prolong the blue code, a mechanism to provide care for people living on the streets. Heavy rainfalls and intense cold have hit the Metropolitan regions of Santiago, Valparaiso, O’Higgins, Ñuble, Maule and Biobio, and forecasts indicate that the situation will continue until Thursday.
