Chilean state-owned Codelco (COBRE.UL) said on Thursday it had reached a collective contract agreement with two workers' unions representing employees at its Andina mine ahead of a planned deadline, helping avert the risk of a strike at the site. The three-year deal is set to cover over 800 workers represented by the Unified Workers Union (SUT) and the Industrial Labor Integration Union (SIIL) and should come into effect this August.
