The National Institute of Statistics of Chile (INE) reported today, Thursday, that the unemployment rate during the February-April 2024 quarter was 8.5%. “The figure represented a decrease of 0.2 percentage points (pp.) in twelve months, because the increase in the labor force (3.5%) was less than that presented by employed people (3.7% )", he pointed.
