Chile’s gross domestic product will rebound this year following a prolonged period of stagnation as the economy stabilizes and confidence returns, said the country’s finance minister, Mario Marcel. He told LatinFinance he expects the economy to expand by 2.5% in 2024, higher than the regional average of 1.9% estimated by the IMF.
