A group of demonstrators protested outside the Israeli Embassy in Santiago over the war in Gaza, demanding an end to the conflict and for the government to cut relations with Israel. Josefina Laban, a Chilean citizen from Palestinian heritage said she was compelled to protest after five months into the conflict. "The first thing that should happen in this country is that this criminal embassy leaves," Laban said.
