WOM Chile is mulling a debt restructuring under US Chapter 11 or 14 bankruptcy law, along with a reorganization in local courts, local outlet Diario Financiero reported, citing unnamed sources. The company is also considering selling assets to a bondholder as another option, according to the news report. WOM’s dollar bond due in 2024 traded on Wednesday at 60.5 cents on the dollar, down from 77.1 cents on March 7, according to Trace data.
