The share of non-conventional renewables in Chile’s gross power generation mix fell to 33.6% in May from 38.1% the month prior, according to the latest figures released by the Chilean national energy commission (CNE). Gross power production from non-conventional renewable energy sources dropped by 2.8% month-on-month to 2,514 GWh in May. This level of output is 3.1% higher compared to the same period a year ago.
