Residents started cleaning up homes and streets after a tornado on Tuesday destroyed at least 11 homes and left more than 20 people isolated in central and southern Chile. The South American country has been hard hit by intense storms and winds that have left one dead, four injured and thousands affected over the last week. The town of Penco was among the worst affected by the tornado, which swept away houses and caused trees, pylons and power lines to fall, leading to power outages.
