The Chilean government applied new pressure on Friday on Italian power distributor Enel to expedite the process of restoring power to customers who have been without electricity since a severe storm caused prolonged service disruptions last week. Energy Minister Diego Pardow told journalists the government was moving forward with a review of Enel's concession to serve 33 municipalities in the Metropolitan region of Santiago, which could result in the concession's cancellation.
