The new prices will add up to July’s hikes, as part of the so-called normalization, approved by the Government after the freeze ruled in 2019, against the backdrop of social unrest the subsequent Covid-19 pandemic. According to the Commission, the new bills will surcharge between 12 and 22 percent, depending on the geographical area where consumers reside.
