An earthquake measuring 4.8 magnitude on the Richter scale hit the Tarapaca region in northern Chile on Sunday. The epicenter of the earthquake occurred 51 from the town of Camina, at a depth of 100.1 km, the US Geological Survey (USGS) reported. There have been no reports of casualties or material damage due to the earthquake so far.
