Chile: Authorities require pre-travel COVID-19 testing for travelers entering from China as of Jan. 3

As of Jan. 3, authorities are requiring all passengers arriving from China to present a negative result from a PCR COVID-19 test taken no more than 48 hours before their flight to Chile. The measure also applies to any travelers who have been to China in the seven days prior to their arrival in Chile. Travelers will also be subject to testing upon arrival at the airport. Those who test positive must quarantine for five days. Other COVID-19 entry measures and domestic restrictions remain largely unchanged as of Jan. 3.
