The taxable wage amounts for Chile’s social taxes are unchanged effective Jan. 1, 2023, in terms of the units used to define them, two resolutions published in the country’s gazette Jan. 12 said.
The taxable wages remain 122.6 account units for unemployment insurance contributions (Spanish) and 81.6 account units for other social taxes (Spanish), the resolutions from the Superintendency of Pensions said. These limits have been in effect since Feb. 1, 2021.
