More than 146 thousand publications about Chile were generated in foreign media in 2023, according to the measurement carried out by the Fundación Imagen de Chile every year, which analyzes the coverage of our country in 68 media from 15 priority countries*. Despite the fact that politics and the national economy concentrate a large number of headlines in the world every year, two other topics that contribute to the positive image of the country increased their coverage by the foreign press: tourism and sustainability.
