The Chilean Navy have airlifted a struggling swimmer to safety after a distress call was made over a danger of drowning. The navy said that by the time the rescue team arrived, one of the individuals had managed to reach the shore. The other, still in danger of drowning, was airlifted by a helicopter and transported to shore.
