A magnitude-5.4 offshore earthquake occurred near the coast of Chile's Atacama Region at around 18:14 Feb. 11. The epicenter was about 72 km (45 miles) west-northwest of Vallenar, Chile. The tremor occurred at a depth of about 34 km (21 miles), and light shaking was probably felt in parts of Atacama Region.
