A US$350mn standalone battery storage system is seeking the environmental green light in Chile. Filed by Plus Energía, the project is planned for Coquimbo region and involves installing 200MW of batteries with five-hour injection duration. Work is penciled in to start in November, according to documents filed with environmental review agency SEA.
