As of the afternoon of Sept. 1, activists are demonstrating at the Centro Costanera in Santiago in solidarity with the Palestinian people and the ongoing developments in the Middle East. Authorities may deploy an increased security presence near the demonstration as a precaution, prompting localized disruptions, including transport. Clashes between police and protesters, as well as between rival demonstrators, are also possible.
