The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported a magnitude 4.3 quake in Chile near Santiago de Chile, Provincia de Santiago, Santiago, only 14 minutes ago. The earthquake hit after midnight on Sunday, September 11th, 2022, at 12:22 am local time at a moderately shallow depth of 60 km. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
